Good news for KFC lovers in Pokhara!!

The multinational company KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) was initiated in Nepal in October 2009 by Devyani International. The subsidiary company of RJ Corp Varun Beverage is providing Pepsi soft drink in Nepal.

KFC is doing well in Kathmandu valley and has opened its branch in Pokhara as well. Together with its two branches located in Durbarmarg and Tripureswor in Kathmandu, it is the first outlet of KFC outside the Kathmandu valley. The KFC branch in Pokhara has up to 11 visitor’s capacity served by 40 staffs and it opens from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.

KFC in Pokhara targeting both local and foreign tourists

Dipsa Bhatta, Marketing Manager of KFC says, it is opened in Pokhara targeting tourist in for the growth of investment. Also, Pokhara is the key attraction for tourist and the second largest marketplaces after Kathmandu valley and there is an extensive flow of national as well as international tourists. The main targeted clients here in Pokhara are Youths, students, business personnel, entrepreneurs and local as well as foreign tourists.

Since there are lots of KFC lovers around the globe, the people will surely enjoy KFC in Pokhara. Till date, positive response is coming from local people and they are excited to enjoy KFC in their hometown.

Pokhara branch is planning to carry chicken from Kathmandu. As mentioned by Bhatta, all the branches of KFC have similar taste and the main reason is it utilizes similar quality and apparatus in all the branches.

Another good news is, KFC also plans to open a new branch in Bouddha of Kathmandu. Soon we will be lucky enough to try out delicious food in Dharan and Chitwan as well.

KFC branch in Pokhara involves all woman team. As mentioned by Bhatta, the branch consists of woman staffs for housekeeping, kitchen, management and so on.
